  • KHALIYAN TOP

The Khaliya Top is a meandering meadow surrounded by snowy peaks, offering an awe-inspiring view of the mystical land of Kumaun. The Khaliya Top is perched at an astonishing altitude of 3500 metres above sea level and located near munsyari in pithoragrah district of Uttrakhand. 

One can savour the panoramic views of the majestic Panchachli, Rajrambha, Hardeol and Nanda Kot peaks from the Khaliya top.

  • MESAR KUND

The locals also refer to Maheshwari Kund or Mehasr Kund / Messar kund or Meshar Kund  by locals. It is located a few kilometres away from Munsiyari. There is a famous Hindu legend associated with the lake. It says a Yaksha, a demi-god who used to reside in the pristine lake, cursed the kund.



  • THAMRI KUND
Thamri Kund  or Thamri Taal is a small pond located in the forests of munsyari region of Uttarakhand. The Kund is revered by the locals to bless the region with rain in case there is insufficient rainfall.


  • DANA DHAR
Nanda Devi temple dedicated to Goddess Nanda or Parvati is a Hindu sacred site where the faith of many devotees abides. This religious site can be reached by commencing a swift 3 km stimulating trek from Munsyari Town perched at 7,500 feet above sea level. It is one of the oldest temples in Uttarakhand.

  • TULIP GARDEN ECO PARK

Munsyari Nature Education and Eco Park Center is spread over 30 hectare, some part of its has been developed for Tulip Garden. In this eco park there will huts and tents which provide accommodation to the tourists.

Recently the CM of Uttarakhand shared the pictures of Munsiyari Tulip Garden, which made it popular among nature lovers. The tulip garden is situated amid the backdrop of Panchachuli ranges, a group of five snow-capped Himalayan peaks.

PANCHACHULI PEAKS The Panchchuli peaks are a group of five snow-capped Himalayan peaks lying at the end of the eastern Kumaon region, near Munsiyari, in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand state. The peaks have altitudes ranging from 6,334 metres (20,781 ft) to 6,904 metres (22,651 ft).
